Radar Signal Processing Simulator

A pulse-Doppler radar chain that runs in your browser. It builds an LFM chirp, simulates echoes from Swerling targets, applies matched-filter pulse compression, runs the Doppler FFT, and detects targets with 2-D CA-CFAR. The same algorithms are in the tested C++17 library and the MATLAB script in the repo.

Transmitted LFM pulse

Real part and instantaneous frequency, a linear sweep from −B/2 to +B/2.

Re{s(t)}Inst. frequency (scaled)

Pulse compression (one pulse)

The raw echo is buried in noise. The matched filter concentrates each 10 µs echo into a 1/B-wide peak.

Range–Doppler map with CFAR detections

Power in dB above the noise floor. ○ CFAR detection, × true target.
